The theme of the pow wow is “Honor The Children”. One of the organization’s missions is to help teach Native American youth the many traditions of Native American culture and to share this with their peers to create a better understanding between Native and non-Natives. Children are involved in all of our functions which included drumming, singing, dancing, regalia making, and fundraising. It is important for them to participate in cultural activities so they stay in touch with their heritage and can share with others and pass the traditions on to their children.
Contest Dancing & Specials * Drum Day Pay * Last Chance Princess Contests: Lil Miss (6 & Under), Jr. Miss (7-12), and Miss (13-17) * Tiny Tots * 50/50 Raffles * Star Quilt Raffle * Arts && Crafts * Pow Wow Concessions.
