New Year’s Eve Dinner
Many local restaurants will be hosting live music and having a special dinner menu to ring in the New Year! Ladies get dressed up in your sparkly outfit and gents throw on your best contemporary bomber jacket. Here are just a few of our fabulous local restaurants that will be Rockin’ in the New Year! New Year’s Eve Events
Head up to the Great Divide Ski Area for their Annual New Years’ Eve Torchlight Parade & Fireworks. Ski until 9pm under the lights. Enjoy live music in the Missing Lynx Saloon. After 9pm, gather for the torchlight parade and as the skiers make their way down the mountain, ring in the New Year (a couple hours early) with a stunning firework display. Everything will be wrapped up by 10 pm, having you back in town to celebrate the New Year in Helena.
Dance all night long with the Trust Fund Hippies at the Helena Civic Center’s New Year’s Eve Bash! Ladies early entry, snacks, hats, horns and free champagne midnight toast are all included to make for what’s sure to be one of the most styling parties in town!
Feel like rocking in the New Year Grateful Dead style? Then the 710 Ashbury New Year’s Eve Party at Miller’s Crossing is for you! The groove starts at 9 pm. 710 Ashbury is Helena’s only Grateful Dead tribute band and they will you boogying and smiling into the new year.
How about stepping back to the disco ball era? Celebrate New Year’s Eve at The Windbag Saloon and Dorothy’s Lounge will be transformed into Studio ’23! Inspired by the iconic disco nightclub, there will be prizes for best disco attire, drag performances starting at 10 pm, free champagne toast at midnight!
Break into 2023 with a bang! Live music by Ten Years Gone & Mike Killeen, the best beer in the nation, and all of your friends dancing the night away. $5 cover includes admittance plus party favors, door prizes and a glass of bubbly at midnight!

Celebrate New Year’s Eve with the Kiddos!
Join the ExplorationWorks team as they celebrate 2023 around the globe! Each hour from 11 am – 4 pm, they will ring in the New Year, complete with a New Year’s ball drop from the ExplorationWorks balcony. Between the hourly celebrations, there will be hands-on indoor activities and experiments, a campfire in the outdoor garden, and more! This party will wrap at 4 pm.
